Angela Walizer, MS CCC-SLP/L

Angela was born into a military family and spent her childhood moving up and down the east coast until her family settled here in northern Lake County. Angela attended Illinois State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology and her master of science in Speech Language Pathology. She has experience in hospital settings and outpatient clinics, in addition to the public school setting.  In the public schools she has the opportunity to work with Early Childhood through 6th grade students, where she enjoys a caseload with a wide range of abilities and diagnoses.  Angela has a passion for the pediatric population and helping children to become better communicators to meet their functional, academic, and social needs. She is excited about joining the Pediatric Interaction family and continuing to grow as a therapist.  In her free time, she can be found on the golf course, playing sand volleyball, or just relaxing at home with her family and two dogs, Stella and Winston.
