Nicole VanDycke, MS, CFY- SLP/L
Nicole’s journey in the field of speech-language pathology first began at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Science. Nicole then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Prior to her graduation from Midwestern, Nicole completed her medical externship at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha Wisconsin, where she had the opportunity to work with both the pediatric and adult populations at the inpatient and outpatient level. Throughout her graduate studies, Nicole was also privileged enough to work with the pediatric population in an elementary school and multispecialty clinic with a wide variety of populations including: children with autism, childhood apraxia of speech, Down Syndrome, augmentative and alternative communication, fluency disorders, and language impairment. Nicole has a special interest in the areas of feeding and swallowing disorders, cognitive-communication skills, and voice disorders.
Nicole currently lives in Spring Grove, Illinois. She has one sister and is a soon-to-be, proud auntie of her very first nephew this summer. When she is not at work, Nicole enjoys spending her free time with a good book in hand, cooking and trying new recipes discovered on Pinterest, running, shopping, taking long walks with her dog, Bella, and communicating on FaceTime with her loved ones who live far away.
