Becky Turner is one of those outstanding individuals. Becky was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She moved to Illinois and is now married with two daughters. The best thing about being a speech-language pathologist for Becky is helping others regain or improve their communication skills. Becky became motivated at the age of 10 when her grandfather had a stroke and receive rehabilitation to help him regain function. She received her Bachelor of Science and her Master of Science degrees from the University of Central Florida. She brings her unique experience and skills from the many settings she has worked in, including: inpatient rehabilitation for traumatic brain injury, day rehabilitation for neurogenic disorders, pediatric outpatient clinic, skilled nursing facility and hospitals. Becky’s skill level has developed over the years along with her experience with patient’s suffering from brain injury, pediatric dysphagia, articulation disorders, autism, speech-language delays/disorders, stroke, and Alzheimer’s Disease. The best thing about Pediatric Interactions is "The staff and environment. Everyone is always willing to offer suggestions, help each other, and it is teamwork like I have never experienced anywhere else. I also like the variety of the populations that we see, as well as how up-to-date everyone is in regards to the latest therapy trends and methodologies."
