Melanie was introduced to the field of speech-language pathology when she was in high school. She originally wanted to become a teacher to follow in the footsteps of her mother. Her mother introduced her to the field of speech-language pathology when she was a freshman in high school. From that moment on Melanie knew that this was the field she wanted to be in and she never looked back. Melanie is excited to have joined the Pediatric Interactions family and continue to grow her love for this profession.

In her free time, Melanie enjoys reading, shopping, going to sporting events, traveling, spending time with her dog Bailey, and spending time with her friends and family. Melanie is a lover of Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, cows, sunflowers, and anything yellow!
