Elizabeth (Beth) Macy grew up in Libertyville and currently lives in Mundelein. She graduated from Truman State University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in English and from the University of Illinois in 2013 with a master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. After working in the schools for ten years, Beth is so excited to be PI monkey and grow as a therapist in a clinical setting. In her free time, she likes to garden, craft, read, exercise, and volunteer with the junior high youth group at her church.
Beth loved literature and language from a young age and started her degree in English without a plan for what to do with it. After considering law and teaching, her mom suggested speech pathology might be a good fit, and she was absolutely right. Beth loves spending each day helping kids find their voice, grow in their communication skills, and engage with the world around them.
