Description: Children who are newly diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder may benefit from ABA. However, the families are key to the success and carryover of therapy programs. During the workshop, EI Providers will learn more about parent training programs that will meet their family’s needs.
Speaker’s Bio: Ashley Nemazee
Ashley Nemazee is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with a master’s certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas, a master’s in Human Behavior from National University, and a Bachelors in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Ashley was born and raised in Chicago and began providing direct services to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders in 2008 and became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in 2013. She has provided and supervised home and center-based ABA programs, school shadowing programs, as well as parent and school staff training for clients between the ages of 2 and 22 years of age with varying degrees of diagnosis severity.
