Description: Professionals who work with families with young children bring expertise and experience to their work, but sometimes can be surprised by the additional challenges families are facing and how to support them. Participants will learn how to enhance their collaboration skills to provide social-emotional support to families in ways that take into consideration the family needs and priorities, as well as to encourage the active participation and engagement of the families they serve.

Speaker’s Bio: Eran M Smith

Eran M Smith, MA, LCPC, IMH-E®(III) is an Infant Mental Health Specialist who has been working with families and young children since 1994. She provides counseling in English and Spanish to families with young children. She also provides Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation and Reflective Supervision to Infant/Early Childhood programs and professionals. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband and their Chocolate Labrador Brownie.
