As a speech-language pathologist with over 30 years experience, I have been given the privilege of working with many children with Down Syndrome. While this chromosomal condition carries with it its own set of challenges, in my experience it also carries with it an amazing set of characteristics that are nothing short of admirable and awe-inspiring.
